Arts Award Welcome Offerings

Our programmes accredit skills, support regeneration goals and develop innovative products and services, all within a framework of learning for sustainability: exploring creative leadership in its broadest sense.

Limited places are available for January-August 2010; we are inviting expressions of interest for programmes beginning September 2010 for Levels 1-3.

Our offerings

We offer the following services for practitioners and young people, including agents, partners, learning providers, employers and consortia:

1. Planning support to strengthen communications and ensure quality project learning, creating engaging leadership opportunities that build confidence and skills. We can also link to Artsmark, Eco-Schools and Diploma lines of learning.
   
2. Providing briefs for extended projects and sustainable enterprise activities.
   
3. Coaching & mentoring to help develop individual or group ideas. Contented can act as business angels for innovative projects with potential as sustainable enterprises.
   
4. Signposting local creative organisations; drawing on our network of sustainability practitioners across a range of arts and digital media, including cartooning & animation, music & media activities such as comics and 'zines.
   
5. Raising attainment including e-assessment of Basic and Functional skills, tracking PLT skills (personal learning and thinking skills) and moderating units from the QCF (Qualifications & Credit Framework).
   
6. Training to support learning for sustainability, including creative, critical, systems and other thinking skills, and a range of tools including Edward de Bono and action research.
