Contented believes that learning projects provide an excellent environment for innovation and to engage organisations and their stakeholders.

Youth-led and inter-generational community projects are often the training environment of choice because they provide a low-risk 'live' context in which to develop and test out new ideas while additionally supporting organisations' Corporate Responsibility and marketing strategies.

There are many approaches, or doorways that can link projects to sustainable development. Deciding which doorway to enter is an important strategic decision, which will often involved understanding and mapping a range of local and regional strategies.

Many organisations will already be doing a lot but in a disjointed way. For any organisation to change, it needs to develop an awareness of the whole system. This can be achieved with multiple feedback loops developed through communications activities. It's important to identify what's going well and what might be done better. An important aspect of this is to develop the ability to identify our hidden assumptions.
