Case Studies & Action Enquiries

Our Development Interests

All of our specialists come together to explore the overarching question:

"How can we support sustainable relationships
between work and learning?"

Each one of us identifies a personal passion connected with this theme and works with other members of the community to develop a collaborative project to investigate this. We come together periodically to explore our individual and group learning, if necessary revising our questions, before returning to our projects to try out new ideas. We call this process 'collaborative action enquiry'.

The following are some of our enquiries.

  • How can we use social and technology tools to support the facilitation of participative
processes for parallel personal and organisational transformation?
  • How can we embed learning for sustainability to support the development of effective
    vocational learning programmes?
  • How can we use communications to facilitate innovation for measurable sustainability?
  • How can we produce multimedia that connects people more profoundly to a sustainable
    purpose?
  • How can we embed natural and cosmological cycles in learning to reconnect people to
    nature?
  • How can we use technology to make life better for people in their homes and workplaces
as well as saving money or increasing revenues?
  • How can we work with conflict and space to create participative and sustainable communities?
  • How can we use complementary medicine and alternative therapies to develop a
sustainable healing community for health service clients?

Here are some of the learning projects connected with this process, including some of our past projects:
